Latest House Picture

Our house is starting to look livable.  We are still hoping to move in this fall. We have long-term renters ready to move in to our Breckenridge home starting at Thanksgiving. It seems all this is really going to happen. 

Update on Bobby

Bobby had the time of his life visiting the Inadas in Tokyo.  He stood head and shoulders above the Japanese people who thought he was some sort of American celebrity.  He also became Gus's favorite playmate.  We will see him again this month in Vermont where we look forward to meeting his girlfriend, Katie.  See you soon Uncle Bobby.

Kit and Jess

Kit and Jess have been in New England for a well deserved vacation and to attend the wedding of Kit's long time friend, Aron Shapiro (congrats Aron!)  We look forward to hearing about their adventures when we return from Boston after Labor Day.  Here are some pictures from a recent photo shoot.  They now live in Boulder, CO in a neighborhood full of kids.

The summer feels like it's coming to an end up here.  It is chilly every morning and shadows creep in at the end of the day.  On August 26 we are off to Boston to help Susie & Tetsu & Gus return to their home in Somerville, MA after their year in Tokyo.  We are so glad to have them back in the States and look forward to this visit.  We also look forward to seeing Bobby in Vermont and to meeting his girlfriend Kate for the first time.  On September 8 we return to Colorado and hope to reconnect with Kit & Jess after their vacation in New England this month.

Then we have to face moving.  It looks like we may have some long-term renters for our Breckenridge property.  This may be a good "Plan B" in this economy so we can confidently move on to Arizona knowing that our home here is in good hands. Moving is daunting but we are excited to begin our new adventure in Tucson. Tune in to this blog to keep up with our progress.

Rainy day

Bob tried to play golf but got rained out on the 5th hole.  Sue tried to ride her bike to Frisco (and actually did it) but got rained on in the process. Since it was raining we printed pictures of our grandchildren and decided to see if we could create our own blog.  Here it is.

First Blog Attempt

Bob and I are moving to Tucson AZ in October. We decided to create a blog to keep in touch with friends and family as we move on from Breckenridge. We want to keep up with everyone and hope this format will be useful and fun.
