We found a new ski area!!

We decided to take a trip up to Mt. Lemmon, the 9,000 foot mountain just 10 miles from downtown Tucson.  In less than 20 miles, you go from a Sonoran desert to pine trees and snow that look just like Breckenridge.  We even found a small ski resort at the top.

Looking back at the road up Mt. Lemmon

Climbing a Hoo Doo

The base area

Even a chairlift
And of course a ski patrol

We decided to try the chairlift (one of three)

This guy seems to like the view

No skiing this year but at least we had this chairlift ride, so Bob is happy.

Back to Breck

We headed back to Breckenridge to check on our home there.  On the way, we stopped to visit Ken in Lakewood and then the Connolly Family in Boulder. What a treat to see Kelan and Beckett again.  Their other grandparents had just visited the week before and left them some treasures.

Cruising out the driveway

A little help with steering from Dad

Watch out world

Kelan really know his alphabet

Beckett really likes to swing

They both like to play crash on the slide

Heading home with Papa

Spring from the family living room

No Spring in Breckenridge.

This is the view from our back yard

We visited Santa Fe on the way back home to Tucson

What a unique and distinctive place
