Fall trip to New England

We were off to New England for the Fall color, to visit family, and to attend Sue's 50th high school reunion.  I was determined to look like Tucson and managed to pull it off with all this color.  Bob thought I looked like a butterfly.

We saw many good friends.  Someone assembled the Class Officers for this shot.

Then we had some beautiful weather to get an outing with the Inadas.

Mia is learning to pose for the camera.

Elizabeth Gable let us use one of her houses in Rockport for a few days.  Unfortunately, Hurricane Joaquin was coming through at the time.

Bob's brother Phil joined us anyway with son Nate and wife Martha.

The St Pierre family in full color.

Gus was off to second grade this year.  We had fun walking him to school in the mornings.

Bridgette, Charlotte and Annabelle immersed in autumn.

We also stopped by Loon Mountain to travel some familiar paths.

The Pemigewasset River.

With the twins on the Stowe gondola.

Then on to Newport RI on the way to Cape Cod.

And another reunion with our neighbors from Lexington who all moved this year to Falmouth MA.

Summer trip

By June, it was getting too hot for Tucson, so we packed up the car and started driving north.

We stopped in Page Arizona to see Lake Powell again.

This is a portion of the Grand Canyon not far from Page.

Then off to Arches National Park for a long hike to the Delicate Arch.

And finally back to our beloved Rocky Mountains where it was cool and comfortable again.

Back at the golf course at Cordillera.
We really feel at home here.

Then the Inadas joined us from Boston.  It was the kids first trip to Colorado.

 The many moods of Mia.

The family at the top of Lions Head.

Gus and Kelan get into the zip line  and ropes course.

Kit and Jess came up from Boulder.

The boys really hit it off.

And what fun it was to have the whole group together,  even the Connolly's new dog, Millie Grace.

We could not forget the St. Pierres, so we flew from Denver to Stowe VT for a reunion with Charlotte who is growing so fast.
What a cute growing family--Bobby and all his girls.
The twins are getting very adept at the playground.
And they all love the pool, even Charlotte.

Susie and Tetsu acting their age.
At the Stowe balloon festival.  A great finale for our family trip.

Spring with grandchildren

Spring brought fun visits with all the grandkids.  Starting in Vermont, we were a there for the birth of Charlotte Susan St. Pierre on March 17.  What fun it was to see Annabelle and Bridgette meet their baby sister for the first time.

Then we were on to Boulder Colorado where we got to see Kelan and Beckett play baseball and soccer, ride bikes and jump on a trampoline.

Then Gus and Mia visited us in Tucson.  We hung out at the pool, played golf, visited the Zoo and the Desert Museum and ate a lot of food.

Nothing is so beautiful as grandchildren in the Spring!!
