A few days ago it was COLD, COLD, COLD here in Tucson!!!! Temps in the early morning were about 30 degrees, which apparently is about as cold as it gets here. If you listened to the weather people on TV you might think that the world was going to end. Here are some of the things they said:
"Be sure to dress in bundles" [they don't quite the idea of "bundling up"]
"Warm up your car this morning"
"Be careful out there" [we're not sure exactly what you're supposed to be careful of???]
In any case, the sun came out and daytime temps were in the high 50s - sunny and warm for Breckenridge!!
Hey Bob! I'm sure you've heard but it's been an amazing start to the season...uh-mazing! How can one complain about pretty much all your early ski days being in powder! ;-p Needless to say Kerry and I have a big-ass grin on our faces these days...especially when choking on the cold fluffy stuff. I took a bee-line down Boreas the other day...maybe 3-5 arcing turns down and got my first real face shot of the season! It took a few seconds to register but oh man was it a nice surprise! Miss you on the hill...it's really great that you're online with this now! If you ever wonder if people are following your posts don't...Kerry and I have you on our RSS readers so we see all of your updates ;-p Warm or rather cool wishes to you and Sue for the holiday seasons! Are you planning on a 'ski trip' any time soon? Take care and sorry we haven't been in touch...it's been an insane work year for me.
